Grenoble training

The 2nd PRESTO training will take place in Grenoble on June 9-10, 2010.

Overview of the training
PRESTO transfers the best European know-how and focuses on 3 thematic pillars, which play a crucial role to foster cycling: infrastructure planning; promotional soft measures and promotion of pedelecs. Participants of the second PRESTO training in Grenoble will have the opportunity to find out best practices and exchange their opinions and knowledge with top European specialists on the following topics:

  • Cycling Infrastructure: State of the Art in Europe
  • Case Study: Crossroads and 30km/h areas in Grenoble

The PRESTO training will broaden participants’ knowledge on how to develop sound design principles for better and safer cycling conditions (crossroads and 30km/h areas) and demonstrate the latest developments and cycling infrastructure in Europe, with a particular focus on countries which are no cycling countries yet (low cycling culture).

Who should attend?

  • Urban and transport planners
  • Representatives of cycling user groups
  • Media representatives
