BICY. This EU project aims to achieve a widespread modal shift towards cycling and walking to improve the quality of life and reduce pollution by designing and implementing trans-national, cross-border and national strategies. Link: www.bicy.it
EcoMobility SHIFT aims at developing a certification system to improve and promote the sustainability of local governments’ transport and land-use policies. In addition, municipalities will be able to obtain an ‘EcoMobility Label’ that values their efforts to improve the ‘friendliness’ of their cities for pedestrians, cyclists, wheelers and public transport users. CARMA (Cycling Awareness Raising and MArketing) is a target group oriented cycling communication project, which focuses on better cooperation with the selected target groups and on the integration between communication and infrastructure initiatives on cycling.
