"LANDRAD": Austrian project about pedelecs
LANDRAD is an Austrian research project funded through national and private resources as well as through different sponsors. The project aims to assess how many trips, which are usually made by car, can be replaced by pedelecs. For a special rate, 500 pedelecs were made available for private individuals. The pedelecs are equipped with a technical device for quarterly data capturing. In addition, the participants are asked to take part in surveys on their mobility patterns. The project runs since October 2008 and ends in 2010. First results are expected for summer 2010.
